The Melchizedeks are the great emergency ministers of the local universe — dispatched wherever and whenever a crisis demands extraordinary intervention. It was a Melchizedek who came to Abraham. It was a Melchizedek who maintained the light of truth during the long centuries when Urantia was spiritually isolated. The universe does not abandon its troubled worlds. It sends its best to them.
